Gros Morne West Camp and R.V. is situated in a National Park famous for its abundance of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see wild animals throughout the area, including within the town of Rocky Harbour itself. Please be respectful of nature and keep a safe distance from any wild animals. Moose can become aggressive, so use a zoom feature if you're looking to get a pic of these majestic creatures.
