Amenities
Firewood and ice are available on site. Gros Morne West Camp and R.V. is close to all the conveniences Rocky Harbour has to offer. Shops, restaurants, and a gas station are all within a short walk or drive.
Nothing says camping quite like sitting around a fire under a Newfoundland sky while roasting your favorite treats. Fire pits are provided for your enjoyment. Dry wood is available for purchase at our office.

If you're simply stopping for the day or planning an extended stay in the area, Gros Morne West Camp and R.V. provides a worry-free and comfortable environment to suit all of your camping needs. A gently rolling stream runs along the property and a community walking trail allows for an easy stroll into town. Explore Rocky Harbour on foot or take the time to drive along Route 430 to the fishing communities and settlements that dot the coastline. With Vinland and L'anse au Meadows several hours away, we provide a perfect stopover for folks traveling the Great Northern Peninsula, and beyond.

Gros Morne West Camp and R.V. is situated in a National Park famous for its abundance of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see wild animals throughout the area, including within the town of Rocky Harbour itself. Please be respectful of nature and keep a safe distance from any wild animals. Moose can become aggressive, so use a zoom feature if you're looking to get a pic of these majestic creatures.
Within minutes of travel, enjoy great fresh local seafood from the local fish plant or a scenic walk at the Bottom Brook water falls.
Enjoy the local music at the Anchors Aweigh show and local pubs, have a delightful meal at the local restaurants, or grab your favourite alcoholic beverages from the liquor store, all within a 10 minute walk.

Location
Gros Morne West Camp and R.V. is situated at the center of
Gros Morne National Park. We are located in the beautiful seaside town of
Rocky Harbour, on Newfoundland & Labrador's best coast - the West Coast.
Getting here is easy - from the Trans Canada Highway in Deer Lake,
turn North on Route 430 (Viking Trail). Continue North until you reach
Rocky Harbour - we are just off West Link Road.
